Guy E. “Sandy” Burnette
Held:
2/25/2005 6:00:00 PM
The instructor for this program is attorney Guy E. "Sandy" Burnette of Tallahassee, Florida. This program discusses the latest developments in expert testimony under the Daubert standard, including the MagneTek case recently decided in the United States Circuit Court of Appeals. This program also addresses two recent court decisions on the scope and admissibility of expert testimony in fire and explosion litigation cases. The “question and answer” session at the end of this program is based on questions that were posed by participants during the live “webinar” delivery of this program. Users should review the materials available under Selected Readings prior to starting the program. The information provided in Selected Readings is designed to assist the user and provides a wealth of background information that will enhance the understanding of the material that is discussed in the presentation. At the completion of the program participants may take the optional test and receive a certificate documenting their participation for IAAI-CFI
®
credit.
